This guide was created to support you.
Fertility Justice & You was created through the Fertility Justice Now! movement by advocates, researchers, community members, and people who bring our own lived experiences with fertility challenges and building our families. We created the resource we know we, and many people in our communities, have needed. This guide is for Black people across the many ways we create and define family, including single people and single parents by choice, queer and transgender individuals and couples, gender expansive people, people navigating infertility, and those exploring fertility preservation, donor conception, or other paths to parenthood. Whether you are navigating care on your own, with a partner, or with the support of your chosen family, there is space for you here.
Informed by research, community voices, and lived experience, the guide is designed to help you better understand what to expect throughout the fertility journey, prepare questions for your healthcare team, and create space to reflect on your own experiences. It’s more than a guide. It’s a tool for self-advocacy, informed decision-making, and a reminder that your voice, choices, and experiences matter.
